One of the bigger struggles of teaching is having a classroom full of students with different interests, attitudes, and needs and having a lesson that is not one size fits all. One aspect of our jobs is to meet the needs of all of our students, but this is definitely not easy, by any means. If you have difficulty knowing what types of accommodations would work for certain students of yours, I would recommend using this site, which describes different types of learning styles or needs, and all of the accommodations that benefit those styles and needs.
If you have difficulty knowing what these accommodations would look like within lesson plans, please feel free to check out the following project in which I provide two lesson plans on graphing linear equations using intercepts, and finding the slope or rate of change. The project is divided into three parts: a description of a student in my class, the lesson plans with contains descriptions of the accommodations that could be used for each activity in order to accommodate that student, and then a final description of which accommodations worked best.
